Her orange paws pressed lightly against the bridge, checking it with a few prods of the paw here and there to make sure the boards were stable. The stale scents of the twolegs from last Greenleaf were still here. Skittles snorted in disgust and hatred. Idiot beings with no fur. 'Exactly, well its safe, go! Stop standing around like a caustious kit!' There went Lime's rant about her caustiousness.
Stepping out she began to sniff around it, it was something she had never seen before. Skittles has seen the bridge before, but never came on it since she had to go through stupid clan territory to get to it. There was that fishy clan scent here to, but it wasn't really a marking for territory. Stretching out she raised her ginger helmeted head to watch the lake ripple softly. The sun wasn't so warm now, and prey was beginning to become scarce.
Like Skittles cared about the clans and their prey. There was plenty of mice in the Horseplace. Her ears twitched as her whiskers quivered in amusement. Those clans and their prey. Skittles has seen clan cats before, and was fought and chased off by the dark and foul scenting kitties up northwest. They were all selfish kitties.

sin.xy A black ear flicked with uneasy. He was incredibly close to one of the Clans territory. He knew it wasn’t safe, but he had to find food for his family. Sin breathed the foul air. A puzzled look formed on his face, and her inhaled again. “What?” He muttered to himself, padding a few steps forward. There was a scent of a cat which was not of Clan. verdant green eyes scanned the damp territory quickly. He caught a glimpse of orange fur near the lake. He race toward the cat.
As he neared the she-cat, he slowed down. “What are you doing, she-cat!” he snarled, eyes narrowed. It was oblivious that she was on the Clans territory. “You do realize you’re on the Clans territory, right?” the black tom added, taking one more step forward, a leaning down close to the lake. Sin inhaled the air. A patrol had just pasted, fortunately the wind was blowing toward them.

The coolness of the air was nice though it wasn't the best temperature for sunning. She stretched out again, her belly cool from the damp bridge. Her claws extended pricking the wood.
“What are you doing, she-cat!”
The sudden snarl made her jump in surprise. Her face was soon distorted by a snarl and a hiss. What the hell?! Who the hell was this?! 'Bad little Skittles! No swearing!' This wasn't a time for joking!
“You do realize you’re on the Clans territory, right?”
She humphed, her white maw shutting and the snarl going away. "Am I suppose to be a scared little kitten and run away, besides what are you gonna do about it gramps?" she retorted flexing her orange toes. The ginger and white she-cat was much younger than Sin. He could probably be her father, or her grandfather, though she didn't care.'Be nice Skittles! How many times do I have to tell you to respect your elders!' Skittles scoffed hearing Grape's voice.

sin.xy “Gramps? Gramps!?” he repeated, puzzlement filling his voice. His bushy black tail began to lash. “Who the hell gave you the right call me ‘Gramps?’” the tom snarled, glaring down at she-cat with furious green eyes. He claws dug into the clay beneath him. His face was distorted by bared fangs and screwed up nose. The muscles in his legs were tense, but he would not leap. “What’s you name, she-cat?” He growled a smirk on his maw. A cold breeze blew from the other end of the lake to the side where he and the she-cat were, causing a wave the crash against beach of the lake. His ears flicked, and he made them lay flat on his skull. Gramps? Am I getting that old? He thought, wondering if what the she-cat was true. No, he was that old yet, not just yet. He growled at the fact the she-cat got to him, but he couldn't help wondering. He looked down into the lake. His fur had a few dull black hairs on him, but not many. Another wave crashed against the shore, causing his reflection to disappear.

The look on the tom's face made her snicker.
“Gramps? Gramps!?” “Who the hell gave you the right call me ‘Gramps?’”
Skittle's whiskers twitched in amusement. What a funny tom he was. " I did, so shut the hell up gramps," 'Lime' meowed with a sneer on her muzzle. Her fur bristled angrily. How dare he speak to Skittles like that! The old gramps!
“What’s you name, she-cat?”
"Idiot Lime...my name is Skittles, and the one who just spoke was Lime," she meowed watching him carefully. Was he that worried that he was getting old? Skittles watched him look down into the Lake. Her schizophrenia was acting up again. The trees seem to have monster faces to her, and a dark shadow slithered in the Lake. Just what she need...to be seeing things like this now.
"What's your name gramps? Or...should I just keep callin' ya gramps," she snickered, flicking her ginger dipped tail. Her white legs twitched as she trotted closer to him. His scent was strange, like salty water. He wasn't from around here, but where was he from then?

sin.xy Sins nose twitched, a low growled escaping his throat as Skittles snickered. “Sin. My name is Sin. Don’t call me gramps.” He said, voice softening a bit. “And Lime? Is Lime like… your other personality?” He asked, looking down at her with calmer eyes which were tinged with a bit of sympathy. He had a feeling the she-cat wasn’t ordinary. He saw the she was looking at the trees and the lake different then normal. He loosened up his grip on the ground; let his muscles calm down a bit. “Why are you on Clan territory?” Sin asked once more, as she didn’t respond to his question. It was dangerous to be in a Clans territory, especially by yourself. He patrol could easily spot you and, alone, you’d be out matched. His stomach growled. He hadn’t eaten all day yesterday or morning. Prey was sparse, and all he found he would give to Virtue. She needed it more then he did since she had his kits to feed also. Greed, Gluttony, Wrath. The three brothers.

“Sin. My name is Sin. Don’t call me gramps.” “And Lime? Is Lime like… your other personality?”
"Sin...grampa Sin, what's the difference? Your way older than me, and yes Lime is my other personality along with Grape...who is the nicest of the two," Skittles replied watching the water ripple uncontrolably. The dark shadow came up. It was a large salmon with horns and tentacles and sharp fangs. Skittles took a few steps back, her head lowering as she hissed at the 'dragon'.
“Why are you on Clan territory?”
She stopped hissing and looked up at Sin. "Sunning, you can't sunbathe in the Horseplace," she replied giving her chest a lick. She neared the edge, looking to see if that creature was still there. It roared, popping up in her face. She shrieked and scampered behind a wooden pole on the bridge.

sin.xy Sin looked into the water and nodded. “I may be, but I’m not ‘gramps.’ And what do you see?” He meowed, turning his head to Skittles, noticing how she hissed at a salmon that swam up the edge of the lake. “Are you scared of salmon?” Sin asked, padding over to Skittles. It would be a bit odd if see was… Salmon was delectable, even though there wasn’t any at the Sun-drown Place. He hear a ‘Twoleg monster’ roar. He looked at the sun; it was about any two hours after sun-rise. Sin looked back at the orange and white she-cat, empathy filling his glassy optics. She's not a normal she-cat… She ran away from a fish… He thought, looking over his shoulder, back at lake. He saw a trout leap out of the lake after an insect. Why is she frightened? It never came across his mind that she may be schizophrenic.

“I may be, but I’m not ‘gramps.’ And what do you see?” “Are you scared of salmon?”
"The trees...and the lake...that wasn't a salmon! It was a monster! A monster! The trees...they have scary faces...scary scary...he he," she meowed, and started laughing. Skittles was truely insane. Her paws prickled as a grin spread on her maw, her head was cocked to the side.
Skittles let out anothe insane laugh. The bridge was extending in her view, and the sky was dark, with red streaks. "Do...do do, what a wonderful day, don'cha think gramps?" the voice belonged to Lime. The grin turned into a sneer. Her amber-yellow opticals narrowed.

sin.xy “Hmm… Your schizophrenic?” Sin asked, tilting his head to the side, eyes watching as the she-cat laughing insanely. That was it. The she-cat was defiantly not normal. That laugh said it. The ‘Lime and Grape’ thing help quite a bit too. Talk about spilt personalities… He thought, staring at Skittles, ears flat on his cranium. You could tell that his grassy green eyes were full of anxiety. He had never seen a cat so… so… so out of it. He wasn’t truly comfortable around her, especially seeing that see wasn’t sane. “What you are seeing isn’t really… the tree… the lake… the salmon… That stuff.” Sin told, looking into her narrowed eyes with discomfort. He inhaled the air. The scent of dew was gone now and the sun blazed down on his black coat, making it tremendously uncomfortable for him. A monster beeped, causing the tom to jump from his resting place.

“Hmm… Your schizophrenic?”
"Take you long enough dearie?" it was the more mature voice of Grape. 'Grape' shook her head. Lime just had to scare others like that. Her ginger furred ears flickered back as she let out a yawn. 'Grape' could tell that Sin was not comfortable around Skittles.
“What you are seeing isn’t really… the tree… the lake… the salmon… That stuff.”
"She's gone...eh...I know...but its just real scary, I'm a year old yet these things scare me like I'm some kit whose been told a story out the boogyman," she hissed coming out fully from behind the pole. Her amber-yellow opticals watched the older black tom. With that fur he had to be hot, even though it was Leaf-fall.

sin.xy Sin stepped back at Skittles hiss. He soon regained that step. “Who is ‘the boogyman?’” The long furred tom asked a puzzled look held on his face. Grassy pools looked down at Skittles with understanding. Black ears flicked. He just remembered, he had to hunt for fresh-kill for Virtue, Nitrogen, Greed, Gluttony, and Wrath. “Hey, do you know how to hunt?” It was bit odd asked if she knew how to hunt, he usually hunted on his own or with Nitrogen, but he need all the help he could get, his family would be hungry. Sin was a bit edgy, his ears and eyes flicked everywhere, trying to find prey. He inhaled the rank air, but no luck, the wind was blowing against. His eyes widened. That meant a patrol could find them. “Skittles you live in the Horseplace, right?” Stupid question, she had talk a bit about it earlier, but he knew for a fact that there was lots of mice and rats there, and they were easy to catch.

“Who is ‘the boogyman?’”
Was he for real? He didn't know who the boogyman was? "He's a monster that the Twolegs made up to scare their kits, but some cats know about it, my mother was one of those cats," she replied licking one of her ginger paws. The wind started to change, which was bad for them both.
“Hey, do you know how to hunt?”
Her ears pricked at this question. "Yes I do, why do you ask?" she asked looking up from her paw. Did he want to hunt with her or something. Skittles ears twitched and flickered back as she watched the preyless lake ripple. Of course there were tiny fish in it at this time, but no one would be able to fish in the right time with Twolegs there.
“Skittles you live in the Horseplace, right?”
"Yes, I believe I told you that earlier," she meowed, seeming irritated at the stupid question. Flexing her claws she sheathed them and headed down the bridge. "I can show you the best spot there for hunting lots of mice," she called back, reaching the grass filled area.

sin.xy Sin nodded his head. "Good, take me there." the tom said, padding up to Skittles. He knew where the Horseplace was, but not the best spot for hunting, he never really tried to hunt there. He rose a tufted black paw and licked a few quicky times, and then set it back on the ground. The tom winced his eyes are the sudden gust of wind that blew past him, this made him shake his bulky, furry cranium. Feathered black ears lied flat on his skull, trying to aviod the tickling sensation the wind on the hairs would cause. His stomach rumbled, causing him to look down. How much longer? He thought, let out a wail inside of him. He was desperate food since he hadn't had a meal since two nights before. The black let a sigh escape his throat and made his eyes blink. "Do you live with any other cats?" Sin asked, looking at Skittles with kind grassy green eyes.

Soft peltry was shaken as she stepped forward.
"Good, take me there."
Blinking a few times she glanced at him then nodded. Silently she trotted through the grass. The Horseplace was easy to get to, but getting past the horse's was hard. Amber-yellow opticals blinked as she tried remembering where she was. Once it came to her she was off again.
"Do you live with any other cats?"
"There are others, but I rarely talk to them," she replied. There was a soft naugh in the distance. The Horseplace! She quickened her pace as she manuevered through the trees. The scent of a familar horse was caught in her nares. Forcefully blowing out the scent in a harsh snort she came upon the wooden farm. A bay horse with a long black mane and tail stood by the fence, as if waiting for her. She calmly meowed a greeting before slipping inside. "See that top shaft? Thats were all the prey is, up away from us kitties and horses, you can see that can't ya gramps?" she joked.
